There are four types of standpipes that you will find in use:
·         Wet system with water in the pipes at all times; It is supplied by a water source. The pressure in the system is maintained constantly.
·         Automatic dry standpipe with air stored always inside the standpipe at a constant pressure; When a hose valve is opened, the air escapes allowing the water to enter into the standpipe system.
·         Semi-automatic dry standpipe with air stored inside the pipes, which can be either pressurized or not pressurized; With it water then enters the system, when an actuation device such as a manual pull station or an electrical switch is activated.
·         Manual dry standpipe system only with pipes feeding the system; With neither air nor water in them; For water to be supplied through the standpipe, a fire apparatus must be used.

All products are warrantied by HPDSIGNS.NYC to be free of defects in material or workmanship, at the time of shipment. HPDSIGNS.NYC liability shall be limited to replacement of the product, if it can be determined that the product was defective at the time of shipment. The following actions void the warranty: improper assembly; use above intended and reasonable capacity; misuse; abuse; modification; cleaning with abrasive tools, exposing the unit to heat sources and vandalism. Painting, sandblasting, cleaning with harsh chemicals not recommended voids the warranty . Modification of the original product voids all warranties. HPDSIGNS.NYC assumes no liability for any modified product .HPDSIGNS.NYC is not responsible for: loss of use of the unit; labor for repair; inspection fees or disposal costs. THIS WARRANTY IS NONTRANSFERABLE. IT IS VALID FOR 90 DAYS FROM PURCHASE DATE. THE WARRANTY IS VOIDED AFTER 90 DAYS.
